2nd Day of Homeschooling...

Not sure Monster gets the fact that we don't have to get up early and go to school. Well actual school. This whole summer he has been great about sleeping in till about 8:30-9ish. Not the last two days. Nope he is up early and ready to go. This morning around 7:30 I heard him so I got up. We had breakfast, hung out for a little bit and then by 8:30 had started our learning. Maybe once he gets the hang of it he will start sleeping in again! Today was a bit of a light day for us. I know once we get more into our curriculum we will have more to do, but today we were done with all worksheets by 10 a.m and our project was done by 11 a.m. Here are some pictures from our day!
Working in his Daily Learning Notebook

Writing out the time!

Drawing the hands on the clock!

Worksheet for Language Arts.

This is him finishing our Cantering the Country project from yesterday! We made a salt dough map and today he painted it green and added the Delaware Rive and the state capitol Dover.

All done! Tomorrow we will do another worksheet on Delaware and we have two days next week we will continue with Delaware! I want to get more in-dept with it so I may need to find a book on Delaware and next week we will put a timeline together starting with Delaware and then will add the other states as we go along!
